The level of service industry's development severs as a substantial sign for the degree of market economy development and socialization of production. In our country, the transform from traditional manufacturing base to modern service industry has become the tendency of modern industry. With Chinese joining the WTO, competitive barriers established by service industry for its protection won't exist any more. Therefore, how to sustain its competitive advantages, and how to develop and manage human resources becomes more and more important.In this paper, two problems listed as follow will be discussed. First, will there be any difference on human resource management practice in the domestic service companies with different characteristics? Second, under Chinese culture background, will human resource management practice designed for western enterprises have a positive effect on Chinese service industry's performance? How do they go on with each other? Will they form a counterproductive relationship? The author will exert his effort to solve these problems by empirical study and also hope to make a little contribution for revealing the veil of human resource management practice and enterprise performance. Based on a range of literature review, the author proposes research hypothesis and then utilize domestic service enterprises'research date to design models, with the purpose of testing hypothesis and obtaining results. Finally, according to the research results, this paper also proposes some suggestions for Chinese service companies.
