As the pillar industry in China's economic development, China's power industry plays an important role in the country's socialist construction. With the implementation of reforming in China's power industry, the electricity generation and supply has been separated, and China's power market is under the transition from a seller's market to a buyer's market.This paper analyzes the current situation in power marketing and environment of Yiyang power company, shows the characteristics of the company and the opportunities and challenges the company faces, meanwhile the paper offers suggestions for making and implementing the marketing strategis by analyzing the Yiyang power campany's the current issues in marketing.By researching the electricity market and ascertaining Yiyang's target power market,this paper points out that the smooth implementation of marketing strategies needs a comprehensive supporting system which includes functioning system for marketing, a sound techincal supporting system and a high-quality marketing team finally, this paper reaches a conclusion that the key of promoting the progress in power marketing and the sustainable development in power supply enterprises is having a comprehensive grasp of the trend in power reform and the marketing environment which the company faces, meanwhile analyzing the current situation in power marketing and find out the deficiencies,and determine the basic objectives and direction of power marketing and establish a set of compatible marketing strategies and ensure that the marketing strategies is fully implemented. In this paper, electric power marketing system design process, fully taking into account the development of the electricity market environment, Yiyang, in the course of the study note that theory and practice, a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, emphasizing the practical work of the relevance, effectiveness, To Yiyang Power Company to carry out marketing provided a basis for decision making.
