Using MSS System To Promote Business Management Level

This paper analysed the promotion and the application of the Northern Telecom MSS system. The principal contents is analyzing the construction background of the Northern Telecom MSS system, analyzing the overall building and the promoting programme of the Northern Telecom information system, illuminating the necessity and system-building goals of the Northern Telecom MSS system. The article briefly introduced SAP company and its products, discussed the financial management, project management, human resources management, statistical analysis of the relevant processes and related functions of the SAP system. Through the implementation of SAP, project management implemented the project life cycle management; procurement inventory management strengthened the unified management of the procurement and inventory management; the financial management deepened the financial centralism-calculation-management pattern; human resources management promoted the organization and the post structure system management, strengthened the dynamic human affairs and the human affairs information management, defined personnel salary calculation system; the statistical management enhanced the statistical analysis flexibility and the accuracy.This article elaborated the Northern Telecom's experience summary in the system construction plan and the system promotion, through studying the MSS system's second phase of constructions, has solved the problem in the system application. This article also discussed the problems and the difficulties in the system application , and proposed the deals. Through the above analysis and discussion, the article achieves the goal of practice - summary - enhancement, enables this system serve the Northern Telecom much better, and providing useful information for other enterprises in information system use.
