Modern logistics network has developed many logistics node facilities with diverse sizes, levels and functions. How to plan the layout of logistics node facilities by scientific and effective way, that is, to classify logistics node facilities to meet specific environment and define functional localization, reasonable scale and appropriate quantity for each level, is of importance to display the role of logistics node facilities in regional logistics development. This paper, under the guidance of systematology, ascertains the layout of logistics node facilities by qualitative and quantitative method. Firstly, the related theoretical foundations of logistics node facilities are summarized, and three types of operation such as logistics park, logistics center, and distribution center are discriminated. Secondly, demand factors impacting the layout of logistics node facilities are analyzed and predicted. Thirdly, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are applied to the layout of logistics node facilities based on disequilibrium theory. In the qualitative analysis, the logistics node facilities are classified by three levels, and different levels have different functions and ranges. In the quantitative analysis, an evaluation index system characterizing regional logistics development is set up according to logistics demand, and principal component comprehensive analysis is adopted to distinguish different carriers supporting the logistics node facilities system, as a collection of facilities in the same level. Finally, taken Zhejiang province as an example, the layout of logistics node facilities is empirically discussed on the basis of theoretical analysis. In conclusion, this paper makes sense not only to optimize the distribution and integration of logistics node facility resources, but also to bring more reasonable, effective, and adoptable performance to logistics node facilities, and finally will improve operating efficiency and provide a fundamental guarantee for sustainable and healthy development of the whole logistics system.
