Recently, with an increasing type of global consumer electronic products, the function and quantities become powerful, and the market growth rate is growing as well, consequently, the CE industry becomes one of the most important drives of economic growth. The multi-media processor Integrated Circuit(IC), which is the key part of a consumer electronic products, is mainly provided by the CE IC design house. Experienced a long process of growth, competition and failure, the IC design house have to make an accurate market position and maintain leading technological R&D capability in order to survive in market competition. As a result, how to make an excellent strategic planning is vital for such a company, which influences the market ratio of products, competence of the company or even existence of itself in the coming years.Based on the topics of SWOT quantization model and the strategic planning of comsumers' electronic IC design house, this article makes series of discussions as following. In chapter I, current situation of consumer electronic industry and the method of SWOT are mainly discussed. In chapter II, it mainly introduce conventional methods and steps of SWOT, and some related tools of strategic planning, such as PEST environment analytical method, Michael Porter's Five Forces Model, Boston matrix methods. In chapter III, we elaborate SWOT quantization model with is applied to CE IC design house. This model has been enriched according to the house. Then it will be much more suitable for practical use. By the way quantization and selection methods. In chapter IV, we take Magnum Co. Ltd for example, applied SWOT model, design a set of strategic planning for use. And in the final chapter, is the summary and outlook of the whole thesis, reviewed the contents of the file, pointing out the shortages of it and what should be added to make it better.
