Research On Coordinated Development Of Economy And Society In Daxing' Anling Forest Area

The key to building a socialist harmonious society is to orchestrate the coordinate development of economy and society. Daxing' anling is one of the key state-owned forest districts. As a typical resources-based area, it is rich in forest resources, but also have many problems and a low level of economic and social development, and the economic predicaments and socialcontradictions are being reflected by the implementation of the natural forest protection project. In order to overcome the possible imbalance development of economy and society, it is a necessay to speed up the economy reforms and to pay more attention to the solution to social problems, such as education, social security and social management. It should be clearly defined for Daxing' anling forest area's revival to construct a harmonious forest area and a well-off forest soiety on the premise of the high level coordination and interaction of economy and society, which is also the realistic significance of this paper want to express.In this paper, according to relative theories and investigation, the author firstly summarized the conception and connotation of coordinated development of economy and society in forest area, and then choosing a set of evaluation index system, the author made a quantitative evaluation for the coordination situation of economy and society of Daxing' anling forest area. From the growth of gross index, the result showed that the whole level of economy and society in forest area was obviously low during the period of 1998 to 2006, and the level of social development always lagged behind that of the economy. Viewed from the developing state, the development of economy and sociay during this period of presented a track of disorder, coordination and a slight imbalance. The results of coordination degree show that there are a series of problems which influenced the realization of abiding coordination and interactive of economy and society in forest area, such as the weak economic foundation, the low level of coordinated development, population educational degree is not enough, social security system is inadequate and inner drive of deveolping is insufficient, organizational support is weak, and so on. Finally, the paper proposed the promoting srategies for coordinantion from the perspectives of development concept, economic basis, institution supply,culture driving force, allocation of labour resources, and so on.
