| In the context of global warming, low-carbon economy based on low energy and low pollution has become a global research hot spot. Currently the major development countries in the world have come to focus on new energy development, energy saving technology, smart grid and other fields to stimulate economy. On July 8, 2009, the Group of Eight summit proposed that in 2050, greenhouse gas emissions in the developed countries should be reduced by more than 80% on the basis of 1990 and the global greenhouse gas emissions should be reduced by at least 50%. For achieving this objective, the global economy must make transition to low-carbon development. It presages that over the next forty years from now to 2050, low-carbon competitiveness will be the important reflection of national competitiveness and enterprise competitiveness. At the same time, the development of economy and the ascension of low-carbon competitiveness is mutual promotion. Therefore, the research of coordinated development between low-carbon competitiveness and economy of Chinese provinces is meaningful.Based on the above conditions, this dissertation firstly reviews the current research status of low-carbon competitiveness, then through combing the previous research results defining low-carbon competitiveness as the ability to improve the efficiency of input and output and maintain a long-term competitive advantage through efforts on high-tech, advancement of energy efficiency, enhancement of carbon sequestration ability and improvement of living environment under the condition of carbon emissions constraint. Then, using frequency statistics method, expert consultation method and theory analysis method to build evaluation system, through entropy value method to evaluate and determine the weight of the indexes of the low-carbon competitiveness and economy development; next, using coordination degree model to measure the coordination degree and coordinated development coefficient between low carbon competitiveness and economy development; finally, dividing Chinese 30 provinces into eight economic regions by the division method in the report of regional coordinated development strategy and policy, and analyzing the intra-regional difference and inter-regional difference of the low-carbon competitiveness and economic coordinated development and their contribution rate to the overall difference by using Theil index model. The results show that:(1) the degree between low-carbon competitiveness and the coordinated development of economy in most of the provinces is low and Shanxi province is in serious disorder;(2) the difference between regions and the internal difference in the middle reaches of the Yellow River is the main reason, in the future, China should focus on coordinated development between low-carbon competitiveness and economy, at the same time, should pay attention to eliminating the difference of inter-regional and intra-regional in the regional strategic deployment. |
