This thesis studies on the development situation of human resources in Macao recent years.According to the study results,human resources shortage appears ecause of small scale population,low birth rate and aging of population in Macao,etc.And this thesis's research object is construction industry.After opening up the gambling industry,economy develops rapidly in Macao.The employment situation is good and many job vacancies appear.The personnel flows quickly in construction industry. Large-scale infrastructures of Macao are always invested by foreign enterprises. Senior managers are almost introduced from overseas.And most of the local people belong to the grassroots level in the labour market.As a result,top and middle level managers shortage appears in construction industry in Macao.This thesis aims to comprehensively analyse the lack of human resources of construction industry in Macao,and put forward effective modified methods.In order to improve the quality of human resources,enterprises and the government need to carry out effective training and development activities for the labours.This thesis is divided into five parts:the first part narrates the writing purpose, meaning and main contents of this thesis;the second part analyses the recent situation of human resources and predicts the future human resources market in Macao through analysis on economic development of Macao,populations and human resources,etc; the third part mainly analyses the employment requirements and compensation analysis of construction industry in Macao.The result reflects that human resources shortage is serious in construction industry;the fourth part takes some construction enterprise for example and finds out the universal problems of construction enterprises in Macao,and then provides relevant suggestions;the last part is a conclusion,which is about providing suggestions for the government and construction enterprises to solve human resources shortage and top-middle level managers shortage.
