As a pillar industry of China’s national economy, construction industry has developed rapidly in recent years. The output of construction industry is continually expanding and making new record. But as a labor intensive industry, the quality of employees in the construction industry is obviously lower than other industries, which has restricted the development of the construction industry. As one of the construction industry companies, Guizhou Construction Engineering Group also faces the human resources management and development bottleneck. In order to improve the quality of employees of Guizhou Construction Engineering Group, this issue analyzes the situation of its human resources development and explores human resources development mode on the basis of theories. This issue aimed at exploring a set of adaptable programs for human resources development and further improving the work of human resources development of Guizhou Construction Engineering Group.First of all, based on related theories, this paper analyzes the employees of Guizhou Construction Engineering Group from the aspects of quality, quantity structural figuration and so on and explains the characteristics of its human resources to identify the Group’s human resources development problems which have become a "bottleneck" affecting quality improvement and restraining the development of the Group. Second, through combining the development trend of China’s construction industry, this paper analyzes the effect of new competitive environment which has knowledge economy as its symbol on the development of the Group. From a strategic perspective, it presents a plan for the future sustainable development of the Group’s human resources development. Meanwhile, on this basis, a human resources development and promotion system which makes professional ability development as the core for Guizhou Construction Engineering Group is constructed. In addition, according to the theories of human resources development and CBE education mode, it proposes a low-cost and targeted way of Group’s human resources development. At last, based on the realities, this paper proposes four guarantee mechanisms for Group’s HR development and suggests the specific work that will benefit Group’s further HR development.
