Accelerating the building of enterprise information management system,the depth of information resources development and extensive use,effectively raise the level of management and efficiency to meet user needs, and constantly enhance their market competitiveness has become the iron and steel enterprises in the fierce competition in the market seek survival and the only way to development. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) as a powerful system, is increasingly being used to introduce large-scale enterprises at home and abroad. As a large state-owned metallurgical enterprises of Wuhan Iron and Steel Company(WISCO), in the "10th Five-Year" period spent huge sums of money to build their own ERP system with a view to achieving a financial, logistics costs at the core, capital flow and integration of information flow from product orders began to implement the entire process of tracking information.This thesis from the supply chain management and the idea of the basic concepts of ERP systems research, and drawing on other large steel enterprises to implement ERP experience and supply chain management-oriented WISCO ERP systems analysis and design, with a view to WISCO ERP system development and implementation of reference. WISCO the thesis first introduces the basic conditions, including the building of ERP enterprise profiles and the background; Secondly, based on supply chain management and the basic concepts of ERP systems, the thesis discusses domestic large metallurgical enterprises based on the ideological construction of supply chain management ERP system significance. On this basis, Chinese Steel from Taiwan, South Korea POSCO, such as Baosteel has been successfully implemented ERP project experience, research and design building WISCO ERP system's guiding ideology, the basic principle, and the overall objectives of the planning stages, combined with the actual operation of the WISCO ERP system with specific analysis design. Finally, the WISCO up to the present, summed up the construction of the ERP, and proposed the direction of further integration.
