This thesis is organized in the form of case with case analysis.The first part is the introduction of the case. It reviewed the development history of Sumida company, introduced the general business situation, expatiated the implementation process of it's localization strategy, including human resource localization, R&D localization, and purchasing localization, the process of building up new strategy association relations, and how to solve problems through local innovation of technology and management.The second part is the analysis of the case. It consists of four aspects which are the mission and orientation of the company, the analysis of its strategy choices, the analysis of the company's strategy implementations and the evaluation of the company's localization strategy. Using five competitive power and the method of SWOT analysis, the thesis analyzed the macroscopical environment and business environment that the company faced, summarized it's advantages and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, described the background and the reason of Sumida company' localization strategy. At last, based on the analysis of the company's achievements and the problems that came forth during the process of its localization, the thesis brings up the policy of keeping on the localization strategy to accomplish the aim of advantage reinforcement between the investment country and the local country.
