Under the inspiration of "go abroad" policy,Chinese enterprises is going out of the door to overseas investment. Chinese market has always been the main investing stage for Japanese enterprises,however, Japanese market is not the main arena that Chinese enterprises access. The main purpose of Chinese enterprises'investing strategy in Japan is expanding the market and seeking technologies. In recent years, it's increasing that Chinese enterprises invest in Japan by technology-seeking type. It's mainly caused by Chinese enterprises'urgent need on upgrading of technologies when "going abroad", on the other hand, the Japanese market which has been in a long-term depressed state cries for foreign capital to be re-activated. Sub-prime crisis inflicts heavy losses on the global economy, on the other side, it brings good opportunity to Chinese enterprises' M&A with Japanese enterprises. According to expert predictions, Chinese enterprises will aggressively raise M&A against Japanese enterprises, technology-seeking is the main purpose of it.There exists a complementary advantage viewpoint, which explains the content and significance of Chinese enterprises' technology-seeking type investing strategy from the perspective of resources integration. Through investment, Chinese enterprises obtain the technology, expand the market and enhance brand awareness, while Japan absorbs the new-injected foreign capital, which will be beneficial for corporate restructuring and economic recovery. Sino-Japanese economic and trade relations will obviously be warming up again. However, during the course of Chinese enterprises' investing in Japan, whether the investors could effectively utilize the Japanese investing environment, eliminate Japanese bias on Chinese enterprises, raise Chinese enterprise'brand awareness;whether the investors could digest the existing business model and management system after M&A, achieve the original technology-seeking plan, are key to further studies.
