In the enterprise human resources management,"employment"is the core of the management mechanisms. Moreover, in order to achieve the goal that"Bring out the best in people, and match people with the positions","incentive"is the key. However, to be an actually"incentive", the essence of that is establishing an efficient incentive mechanism. An effective incentive can not only improve the performance of individual employees, thereby improving the performance of enterprises, but also conducive to attract, use and retain talents for enterprise. Clearly, the incentive program decided the level of enthusiasm of the staff, thereby affecting the quality of corporate mission completion; it is the foundation of the enterprise survival and development. Incentive mechanism is the practical application of mechanisms of incentive, which is the connected means that make the enterprise ambitious goals come true, and it is the norms of internal application and institutional guarantee. Therefore, the establishment of an effective incentive mechanism is the core motivation issue of organization development. In view of this, this study of the incentive mechanism is to be assumed that providing some suggestions and help for the chain enterprises in the application for the incentive mechanism.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction which indicates the study purpose, significances, content and methods. Meanwhile, comparing the incentive mechanism in China with the West, and putting forward the draw and applications in the West which Chinese referred. Chapter II: through the historical development and changes of incentive mechanism, pointing out the evolution of the incentive mechanism, and described the functions of incentive mechanism in business management. Chapter III: through the analysis of the status and deficiencies of incentive mechanism in Chinese enterprises, then present the establishing and perfecting entry point of Chinese modern enterprise incentive, insist"people-oriented"concept and necessity of establishing discrepancy and flexible-diverse patterns. Chapter IV: pointing out different, flexible and diverse incentive model is suitable for the modern chain retail enterprises incentive mechanisms, conducting a detailed exposition of tiered incentive; and listing the problem during application. Chapter V: through the existing set of incentive mechanisms and application notes of Unimart (统一银座), pointing out the corresponding differences, strengths and weaknesses of the flexible and diverse model and putting forward the recommendations for improvement.Incentive mechanism refers to all aspects of human resources management in business manage process. Therefore, it is difficult to establish a fixed mode. In particular to Chinese enterprises, establishing a set of self-development and a form practical incentive mechanism system, and applying it in the enterprise with success, which is a step-by-step process and it needs repeated exploration and try in theory and practice.
