Along with China's entering WTO and the constant improvement and development of market economy, competition among companies becomes more and more fierce , the root of which is talent competition , the competiton of overall quality of human resources. And talent competition is the competition of mechanisim at all, especially salary excitation mechanism, which plays a crucial role in it. How to achieve human resource management? How to attract and motivate talented people at the same time of maintaining a company's reasonable profit? Salary problem has become the most pressing problem many companies are faced with. Salary management is not a process of simply paying salary to the employee or increasing salary level any more; however, companies should establish a new salary management concept and use new salary management methods ,in order to make salary an efficient tool of meeting staff's demand, retaining talent, remaining competitive and establishing a community of life between the company and its staff. If there is no scientific and reasonable salary management system, human resource management would be like water without a source, a tree without roots.In the planned economy era, the incentive role salary played in companies in China was not so prominent, which has been neglected for a long time. In particular was the private enterprises in China .Because of a late start and small scales, the companies' incentive mechanisms still existed many problems and deficiencies. This paper analyses the background of CG company and designs its salary system with CG's actual situation.With the guidance of modern salary management theory and company's actual situation, the paper designs a set of salary system adapting to the company's current development situation, hoping to provide reference for the similar private companies. Private company's salary management pattern is also discussed in this paper.
