Recently, field of industry and academe pay more attention to supply chain management (SCM). But now, there are many practical problems to be solved if we want to be successful in supply chain management.The method of supplier evaluation and selection has been a key factor to decide whether the supply chain would be successful or not, especially when Supply Chain Management has been developing into a multiple tasks and relationships network. To strengthen the competition of enterprises, comprehend the advanced theories and methods, build and upgrade scientific system of supplier comprehensive evaluation and selection, this article presents the correlative concept and model of SCM theory, and analyses the function and significance of supplier selection. Then constructs the index system of suppliers evaluation according to the detailed evaluate requests and standards of suppliers, while giving out some methods to quantify those evaluation indexes. The paper also amends the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in the structure of measure matrix, the choice of graduations and the illegible dispose of index dimensionless.
