| In recent years, the ancient towns, as new tourist destinations, have welcome in a sustaining upsurge and become a more and more popular tourism destination. Today, we call for sustainable development in tourism, however, with the development of tourism and increase of tourists, many problems of ancient towns' tourism development have appeared, such as the contradictions between tourism development and local community development, the local residents are excluded in tourism development so that there is no equality between local residents and the tourism developers. There are many scholars who have focus their research on the field of exploitation and protection of tourism resources, tourism marketing, tourist experience, and so on, few of them pay attention to the local residents and their perceptions, while this paper researches residents' perceptions toward tourism upon tourism influences in order to find a good way to realize the healthy development and the sustainable development in tourism of Tianfu ancient towns.In chapter 4, this paper makes Huanglongxi and Pingle ancient towns as the object ancient towns. After field-investigations and interviews to the residents, this paper analyzed the residents' perceptions toward tourism influence on four parts: economy, social and culture, environment and general perceptions by means of SPSS' s 'compare means' , 'correlation analysis' and 'cluster analysis' functions. The results show that residents of different personal features have different perceptions towards tourism impacts. Then, by means of cluster analysis, the local residents are divided into 3 groups: enthusiast, ambivalent supporters and indifferent betweeners. In chapter 5, the author puts forward several pieces of advice on the ancient towns' tourism development based on the human-based thought and sustainable development theory, in the end, the author concludes the achievements and the restrictions of this paper as well as areas of the subject for further study. |
