| Since china's reform and opening up, the quantity and quality of FDI inflows has been improving. Ever since 1993, China has been the most important destination of FDI among all the developing country, and this has great influence on the our country's industry structure and distribution. At the same time, in recent ten years, industrial cluster appears allover the world, like Silicon Valley in U.S.A.,software industry of Bangalore in India and so on. Industrial cluster has become an important mean to rationalize the regional industrial organization and promote regional economic growth.However, the former studies on industrial cluster mainly focus on the internal organization of Industrial cluster, and neglect the background of economic globalization and the relationship between FDI and industrial cluster. At the same time, how to make full use of FDI to promote the development of industrial clusters will have great implication for our country.With the theories of FDI and industrial cluster, firstly this paper analyzes the relevance between FDI and industrial clusters, and then on this basis, we make a further study on the mutual influence between FDI and industrial clusters. Through the analysis of the disproportionate distribution of FDI in China, we study the aggregation of FDI and the influence of FDI on industrial clusters. After this, with the datas of Suzhou Industrial Clusters the paper makes an empirical study to test the interaction between FDI and the development of industrial clusters. Finally, according to the problems we have discussed above, this paper make suggestions from aspects of firms, society and government. |
