An Analysis And Investigation On Arsy Ltd.ERP Implementation

ERP system is an integrated information management system developed based on MRP II. During recent years, more and more enterprises began to import this system. However, on the other hand, very few enterprises can implemente ERP successfully. A very important reason for this is that the enterprises did not run through the current situation clearly before the implementation, and did not have a scientific implementation management system, these two reasons caused huge unthinking miss-direction actions together during the implementation progress which finally result to the failure of the whole project. This paper conducts the real complicate situation of Arsy Ltd. ERP implementation, through analyzing this case in order to provide valuable suggestions for enterprises' ERP implementation and to enhance the final result of the implementation.The author states that ERP's implementation is a kind of system construction which involves numerous parts of elements. Based on the implementation case of ARSY Ltd., this paper integrates the analysis of experienced TIM from project organization, implementation methodology, and project control three aspects to illustrate the successful-golden-triangle "outstanding project team + scientific implementation + successful process control = the successful implementation of the project" . In this equation, people, tool, and process are key factors to guarantee the success of a ERP system.This paper is based on the author's implementation experiences. The key factors of a successful ERP implementation was studied from the following three aspects: the organization of the project team, conclusion, and process control of ERP implementation. This paper aims to provide methods for domestic emperies and consultants to take references and therefore to increase the successful rate of ERP implementation. I hope this paper could provide valuable information for domestic enterprises' ERP implementation practice.
