Garment Quality Control And Inspection By Entry And Exit Inspection And Quarantine Bureau

With the development of foreign trade, China has become one of the most important export countries of textiles and garments in the world. While the barriers set by developed countries and disputes between China and these countries make the garment exports more difficult than any time before. In order to overcome these difficulties, the quality control of the export garments is critical important. To improve the garment quality and to standardize the inspection methods are tasks of professional persons of China Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CIQ). It is one of the urgent tasks to investigate the processes and methods of quality control and inspection for export garments.The situation of textile and garment export of China is analyzed in this paper. The function of CIQ in textile and garment export is also discussed. It is the obligation of the CIQ to prevent the export of defected textiles and garments, and as well as to undertake the tasks of guidance for enterprises.The quality supervision and control for export garments are analyzed and discussed. The quality of the export garment can be improved greatly after a series measures are taken. In order to make the export process smoothly, the procedures of export garment inspection must be followed. The application, sampling, inspection and approving of the export are introduced to help the enterprises follow the procedures.This research is carried on the basis of practice of the export garment inspection and the results of this research can be used as references of the export garment inspection.
