| Today, family enterprise is one of the most principal and prevalent enterprise style in the international society. It is said that 80 percent of all enterprises is family enterprise in the world nowadays. With the reforming and opening policy, Chinese family enterprise also has developed rapidly and made a big contribution to national economy. But the organization and the management model of family enterprise are durative denounced by scholars. They believed that is opposite to modern corporate system and specialization management. Action speak louder than words, family enterprise affected by Chinese traditional "family" culture still has its rationality and stubborn vitality.Chinese curtain wall industry grows stronger with the reforming and opening policy. China has become the biggest manufacturer and market of curtain wall in the world. At the present stage, most of corporations of the curtain wall industry are private-owned business, operated and managed by family members. The disadvantage and advantage of family management system must be analyzed dialectically in the different development stage of family business. This paper focus on a case of KaiXin corporation decay and analyzed its existence questions of sustainable development obstacle. By using SWOT analysis method, this paper find out that the real causes of its decay, such as the malady of organization structure, human resource management, personal management system etc, which are caused by family management. According to the enlightenment of KaiXin corporation decay, it give some basic countermeasures to family enterprise sustainable development of curtain wall industry in China.
