In recent ten years, continuously deepening of reform and improving of management mechanism have brought new opportunities for development to communication enterprises. Occupational pressure of communication enterprise employee also assumes the escalation trend.This research selects employees of communication enterprises as subjects and preliminarily draws up the questionnaire on occupational stress source of communication enterprises'employees. Through questionnaire survey and interviews, the research evaluates the status of the employees'occupational stress sources. The result indicated that the self-made questionnaire has perfect reliability and validity. It is an effective tool to survey occupational stress source of communication enterprises'employees.Samples for research come from employees of China Netcom, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom in such cities as Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Shangqiu, Ping Ding Shan, Luoyang, and An'yang. Totally 1,000 questionnaires were sent out, among which 925 were drawn back and 823 questionnaires are qualified. Through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, T-tests, and one-way analysis of variance on the data, the result shows that: (1) Occupational stress mainly comes from five sources: work-family conflict, organization structure and atmosphere, market stress, personal professional development and working load. (2) Employees with different gender, age, working department, duty, length of service, academic credentials and marriage status bear notably different occupational stress. (3) As a whole, occupational stress of communication enterprises'employees is of upper medium level.Finally, this research advances some countermeasures for communication enterprises'employees on occupational stress management from both organization aspect and personal aspect.
