With the development of economic globalization, the market competition is becoming intense, and the competitive intelligence has been the four-pole of the enterprise's development besides talents, capital, and technology. The social network is a kind of relationship that people can exchange and use information and resources, and the extremely important source, tool, and strategic resources that the enterprise can obtain the competitive intelligence. In order to make the intelligence sources more comprehensive and accurate, and put into full play the competitive intelligence system, it is necessary to reexamine the essence of the competitive intelligence and the competitive intelligence system from the social network perspective. Then it can establish a more applicable model for the competitive intelligence system on this foundation and provide the methods and the theories for the enterprise constructing the competitive intelligence system based on the social network. This article is based on these backgrounds and is divided into six parts:Part 1 focuses on the misunderstanding existed in the competitive intelligence system building process of the Chinese enterprises in recent years, In order to fully function the competitive intelligence system, the research of the competitive intelligence system, combining the basis of the problems existed in the domestic competitive intelligence research problems, is proposed and based on the social network. The article demonstrates the major theoretical and practical significance of the competitive intelligence system based on the social network, analyzes the current situation at home and abroad, and puts forward the main idea and content of this article.Part 2 introduces the relevant basic knowledge of social network offering the reference point for further expansion of this article. First, it introduces the concept, the constitution and the type of the social network. Then it analyzes the enterprise and competitive intelligence system's need for social network and the connection between the social network and competitive intelligence system.Part 3 is the key part of the dissertation, through reading, generalizing, and summarizing the massive materials and literatures and analyzing the key factors of the social network application, it conducts the system research mainly from people, information technology, enterprise culture, and enterprise organizational structure. At the same time it analyzes the social network operation based on the key factors. Finally it demonstrates the social network's role in the Competitive Intelligence System.Part 4 is the core part of the whole article proposing the competitive intelligence systems integration based on social network. It mainly includes the theoretical analysis of the feasibility of the system integration, integrated system features and functions, integrated systems innovation, competitive intelligence system based on the social network integration mechanism and so on. Finally through the application cases analysis, it elaborates the characters, the function, and the composition of the system, at the same time puts forward some appropriate recommendations and opinions.Part 5 and 6 carry on the brief forecast to the competitive intelligence system in the future development tendency, and make the work summary to this article content. Through the preliminary study on the social network and the competitive intelligence system, we understand that social network's role in the competitive intelligence system. At last, it puts forward the direction of the future research work, makes this subject more deeply and complete.
