Research On Sustainable Development Of Guangdong's Export Trade

Today the international trade is marked with the token of environmentalprotection. The issue about environment and trade, which is an important part ofsustainable development, has been paid much attention by the international societyand will affect the foreign trade of countries and areas. Under this situation it has animportant realistic meaning to study the sustainable development of Guangdong'sexport trade.This paper uses the method of combination of theory and model, qualitativeanalysis and quantitative analysis to study the sustainable development ofGuangdong's export trade. First it tries to establish the evaluation indexes system ofexport sustainable development level from the perspective of economic benefits andecological benefits, and then utilizes the grey correlated method to set up the timesequences evaluation model of export sustainable development level, and finallymake empirical research on Guangdong based on the actualities of Guangdong'sexport. The result shows that the comprehensive level of export sustainabledevelopment in Guangdong showed a tendency to rise from 1996 to 2005 on thewhole, but there were still many problems which were bad for sustainabledevelopment. For example: the present trade develop mode and structure have beenshowing disadvantages; the export economic benefits and resource benefits are low;the comprehensive competitiveness is weak, etc.At the end of the paper some suggestions for the sustainable development ofGuangdong's export trade are put forwarded on the basis of empirical research,hoping is useful for establishment of policies and scholar's research.
