| The utilizing of FDI is the way to follow the tendency of economic globalization,and it is also a major measure to promote social development. How to keep theincreasing of FDI and make full use of FDI is an important subject.As a large economic province, Jiangsu is implementing international strategyactively and developing export-oriented economy. The scale of FDI is among the topas it takes actively policy to introduce FDI. Based on its important position, the paperwill take Jiangsu province as an example to evaluate the comprehensive benefit ofFDI and summarize the superiority and experience.This paper analyzed different dimension of benefits of FDI based on the familiarof FDI in Jiangsu province. First of all was Economic Benefits of FDI, whichincluding economic growth, export, employment, industrial structure. FDI canproduce positive role to economic growth and employment and it did help toindustrial structure. Secondly, this paper analyzed the management and techniquebenefits of FDI from technological progress and human resources development inJiangsu province. The increase of FDI did not help the increase of the total factorproductivity, nor do the scientific and technological progress. But the increase of FDIdid great help to the human resources development. Finally the paper analyzed theenvironmental impact of FDI, the empirical results show that FDI had negativeenvironmental benefits.Chapter four established the system to evaluate comprehensive benefits of FDIand used factor analysis method to analyze the structure. The empirical results showedthat comprehensive benefits of FDI was constantly changing and increasingexponentially with time. Economic factor played a decisive role to comprehensivebenefits of FDI, and investment factors played an important role. The role oftechnology factor is lower and we can’t ignore environmental factors when weevaluated comprehensive benefits of FDI.On the basis of corresponding consequences, the paper gave some advice abouthow to improve the comprehensive benefits, including improve the investmentclimate of FDI, enlarge the investment source of FDI, make a reasonable guide of FDI,improve the quality of FDI and pay attention to the Environment benefits. |
