Research On Credit Apprasail System For Shandong Branch Of CDB

China Development Bank (CDB) is the state-owned development financial institution which keeps its mission clear ,strengthening the competitiveness of our country and improving the living standard of our people. CDB have maintained our strategic focus on national infrastructure, basic and pillar industries, as well as the hi-tech sector utilizing structured finance offerings to accelerate these markets. As a market leader, we play a critical role in building a healthy financial services sector as well as helping to accelerate the development of a market economy in China through our lending practices.Since 1999, Shandong Branch has developed its total assets to RMB 90.01 billion at the end of 2005 from its start of total assets RMB14 billion (On-Balance Sheet assets RMB70.8 billion). The ratios of bad debts have decreased from 23% of 1999 to 0.6% of 2005. The average profit per capita from RMB2.1million/person in 1999 has increased to RMB 10 million / person in 2005. Development finance is successfully applied in Shandong Province which relied on the credit appraisal system developed by China Development BankFirstly, in several aspects this paper gives basic survey of Shandong Branch whose function is carrying out national macroeconomic adjustment policies and measures, while raising the business positioning and developing trend of Shandong Branch. Secondly on the basis of describing the principles of credit appraisal system, our discussion focus on the business flow,characteristics and some potential problems of the system. Our system has added many evaluation indexes and methods concerning the state policies in the traditional banking business, and has done many probes and tests on the credit evaluation. With the thorough analysis of the system, we concluded that CDB's credit appraisal system is top-ranking and practical for China development situation.According to the above mentioned, this paper has provide the adjustment measures to the credit appraisal system ,in order to suit the frequent changes of development financial business.
