The Zhoushan Yongzhou Container Terminal Co., Ltd was founded in March, 2004. A joint corporation holding by Ningbo Port Group Limited, is responsible for developing and constructing Zhoushan Jingtang island Dapukou container terminals. This wharf is the first cross-regional project operated by Ningbo port Group, a starting & demonstration program of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port integration, the requirement of setting Shanghai International Shipping Center and the Yangtze Delta container transportation system, and the necessary condition of improving international competition of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, meeting the needs of Yangtze Delta cities economic integration development trend. This thesis relies on the development construction of Jingtang Dapukou container terminals, hold an overall discussion on the port cross-regional development, reflect some important realistic significances of expanding cross-regional development construction in the new centry.This thesis is devided into seven chapters, with about 30,000 words. Chapter One, introduce the background, purpose, research approach. Chapter Two, document summary. Chapter Three, discuss the proposal of Ningbo Port cross-regional container terminal investment; Background of cross-regional development; Its further intention & form. Chapter Four, demonstrate the necessity of Ningbo Port cross-regional container terminal investment under the development trend of Yangtze Delta cities economic integration, the setting of Shanghai international shipping center, the reqiurement of improving Ningbo-Zhoushan Port international competition. Chapter Five, introduce the joint corporation's capital structure; project situation; organization; human resource; capital collection & Analysis on economic benefits. Chapter Six, expand countermeasure and measure of the project construction. Chapter Seven, Conclusion.
