The state-owned enterprise, as a result of its particular traditional management pattern, their employees have already got used to recognizing promotion was the best symbol of achievement, and to some degree, promotion had happened to be the only way to show their career success.On the basis of the overseas advanced theories of career plateau, and with the background of the features of state-owned enterprise, this research analyzed the present status of career plateau employee in state-owned enterprise, and on this above, through the discuss of job satisfaction, job-quitting tendency, behavioral and psychological features, as well as the attribution and countermeasures evaluation of career plateau, the scientific management system of the phenomenon of career plateau in state-owned enterprise was constructed in order to surmounted the career plateau by all means, as well as enhance the state-owned enterprise employees work the enthusiasm.The conclusions drawn through the investigation were as follows:①The phenomenon of career plateau in state-owned enterprise was remarkable, especially the number of CP employees was incredibly large; types of career plateau among employees varied significantly.②The overall job satisfaction as well as some specific items of different career plateau employees in state-owned enterprise varied significantly.③The job-quitting tendency of CP employees in different types of enterprises varied not significantly; and the tendency of CP employees in state-owned enterprise also varied not significantly, only the female CP employee, CP employee with higher education level, and those whose work related to technology and in top and middle level management were relatively higher.④The psychology and behavior characters of CP employee mainly included: positive,neutral and negative, and most of them were positive.⑤The attribution of career plateau mainly included: initiative, accomplishment and ability, interpersonal relationship, and organizational environment, and employees were tend to attribute to organizational environment.⑥The countermeasures to career plateau drawn through the evaluation of employee were concluded to three dimensions: enterprise, personal, and supervisor.⑦The psychology and behavior features, the attribution, as well as...
