Women are important human resources.However,due to the influence of traditional gender culture and some other factors,women have a common career plateau in their work,which has an impact on the realization of employees’ personal value and enterprise organizational efficiency.Taking bank G as the research object,this paper analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of female employees’ career plateau through case interview and questionnaire survey.Based on the career plateau theory and combined with the relevant theories such as career development stage,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to reduce the career plateau of female employees.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that:(1)women have hierarchical plateau and a certain degree of centralized plateau,and the feeling of content plateau is relatively low.(2)The career plateau feeling of women is significantly higher than that of men.Women have no obvious self limitation in career choice than men,and there is no significant difference in the feeling of organizational support between women and men,but women’s career plateau is significantly different from men due to the number of children.According to the data analysis,this paper discusses the influencing factors of Career Plateau:(1)there are significant differences in the overall impact of job nature,number of children and job position on Career Plateau;There are significant differences in the effects of age and working years on hierarchical plateau;There are significant differences in the impact of job nature,number of children and job position on the content plateau;There are significant differences in the impact of post nature and job position on the centralized plateau.(2)Organizational factors and personal career choice are significantly correlated with career plateau and its constituent dimensions,family economy is significantly correlated with other dimensions of career plateau except hierarchical plateau,and personal ability is significantly correlated with other dimensions of career plateau except centralized plateau.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward optimization suggestions and safeguard measures,such as improving career development and promotion channels,improving the training system,paying attention to differential management between different posts,optimizing the salary reward mode,giving more organizational support to grass-roots employees,and strengthening the personal care of female employees,in order to provide guidance for the optimization of human resources management and women’s career development of bank G.
