Since the reform and opening up,Chinese foreign-funded enterprises have developed vigorously in China's economic market with strong capital,advanced technology and modern management concept.A huge number of excellent middle and senior management talents have been trained.However,with the change of China's economic structure and the continuous adjustment of the development pattern of foreign-funded enterprises,the development of foreign-funded enterprises in China is becoming more and more challenging.The Personal contribution,investment,involvement and loyalty of middle and senior managers are the effective guarantee of the enterprise's operation and the ability to achieve expected profits.However,some middle and senior managers of foreign-funded enterprises have entered the career plateau.As a stage that may appear in the development of individual career,career plateau not only affects the work and life of individual employees,but also affects the performance of the organization.These foreign fund enterprises who is bound to the emergence of career plateau are facing more severe challenging.A-foreign-funded enterprise is a wholly-owned subsidiary of US capital operating and developing in China for nearly 20 years.It is a diversified products company integrating R & D,production and sales of high-tech products.At present,it has developed to nearly 2000 employees with an annual output value of 300 million US dollars.After years of development,A-foreign-funded enterprise now has complete organization,clear responsibilities and highly subdivided posts.However,since 2015,the company's turnover rate has been increasing,and the staff's work efficiency has been reduced.Among them,the mood fluctuation and work enthusiasm of the middle and senior managers in key positions have been reduced,and even some middle and senior managers have resigned successively,which has caused a series of negative effects.This paper takes the development of A-foreign-funded enterprise in China as the background,takes the typical case of a foreign-funded enterprise's senior management career plateau as the research object,and uses scientific human resource management theory and methods to conduct in-depth analysis of the problems so as to find scientific suggestions and countermeasures.Firstly,this paper introduces the cases of senior managers' Career Plateau in a foreign-funded enterprise,and then summarizes a large number of domestic and foreign literature reviews on the theory of career plateau,using these theories to analyze the problems and find out the fundamental problems of senior managers' Career Plateau in A-foreign-funded enterprise,mainly including: Nationality differences cause career development bottleneck,highly subdivided work leads to job dryness and less achievements,cross time zone working is not conducive to balance work and family,and continuous high performance stress leads to physical and mental fatigue.In the end,the paper makes relevant countermeasures and suggestions to help A-foreign-funded enterprise find solutions to the career plateau of middle and senior managers,reduce turnover rate and improve team work efficiency.This paper uses the methods of literature research and case study,combined with the development of A-foreign-funded enterprise,to develop a scientific and effective solution to the career plateau of middle and senior managers,which not only solves the problem of the career plateau of middle and senior managers in A-foreign-funded enterprise,but also provides a new idea of personal career planning for middle and senior managers in A-foreign-funded enterprise.At the same time,it can also alert those who have not yet been promoted to the middle and senior management positions to make full career planning and avoid career plateau as much as possible.
