Career plateau is a significant part of career management, and it is apt to be understood as the smaller possibility of further promotion and further access to new knowledge and new skills. Since advanced by Ference in 1977, career plateau has attracted attention of western psychologist and managerialist. However, in our country the research on career plateau is in its prime and the empirical study is fewer. In view of this, this study attempts to empirical research methods used against career plate of Chinese staff as well as the impact of individual factors.This study can enrich the theory of career plateau of our country, with a view to a certain extent, for related research provides a theoretical reference and academic reference. Practical significance lies in the plateau based on the impact of occupational factors, putting forward reasonable proposals to guide career plateau employees work in the future even after the career has better performance, which are organizations or individuals regardless of all has great significance of.The study is divided into three steps: the first step, the the collection of item and preparation of the questionnaire, the study uses literature and open questionnaires and so on to collect items, then initial questionnaire was formatted; The second step, Use of the initial questionnaire pretests of the initial questionnaire collected data, conducting item analysis, reliability and validity analysis, the final formation of a formal questionnaire; The third step, formal questionnaire testing, this questionnaire is insist of the basic information, career plateau state of the questionnaire, a questionnaire composed of influencing factors.Conclusion, our employees have a clear career plateau three-dimensional structure: hierarchical plateau, content plateau and centralizing plateau. The influencing factors of individual level of career plateau have a clear four-dimensional structure: personal ability, preferences, desires for promotion, and family factor. Family factors on the level of the plateau has a positive predictive power, the desire for promotion to the level of the plateau has negative predictive power; personal capacity to the content of the plateau has a positive predictive power, promotion of the content of the desire to predict the plateau there is a negative force; tendency to select the center of Plateau has negative predictive power, personal ability to center of plateau has a positive predictive power.
