Research On Security For The Rural Elder In Jilin Province

Jilin Province is not only a big typical agricultural province, but also a small industry province and financially crippled province. The state of economic development is lower. The rural population achieves 12.895 million, which accounts 47.48% of the total population. The population of rural elder accounts for quite great proportion, and its rising tendency is quite obvious, however, at present, the security for the rural elder of jilin Province is a realm that is usually ignored, and the system of social security for the elder has not been perfect, which will restrict the future development of economy in jilin province. It will become the important topic being suspended in front of us that how make a meal of the existing resources to solve the problem of security for the rural elder according to the actual social economy situation of Jilin Province.This article utilizes correlative sociological theories to make a research on security for the rural elder by questionnaire survey and individual interview, and attempts to explore one kind system of security for the rural elder, in response to the actual situation of jilinThis article consists of four parts: The first part elaborates the important significances and background of the study; summarizes the related research on this aspect; makes research contents and methods, and then introduces the theoretical foundation. The second part introduces the way of security for the rural elder of Jilin Province as well as the condition of several aspects such as economic support, medical safeguard, life care, spirit support and so on. Next, it analyses the problem of security for the rural elder systematically. At present, it mainly adopts the way of household security for the elder; while the way of social security for the elder is imperfect. Besides, the material standard of living of Senior citizen's is lower, the state of health is weaker, and it is difficult to see a doctor for the rural elder and lacks the life care and the spirit support. Finally, the paper elaborates the various factors affecting the security for the rural elder of Jilin Province in the macroscopic eye and the microscopic eye. There are economical factor and non-economical factor, in which economic agent is the major factors affecting security for the rural elder. On the basis of the analysis above, the three part draws on the experience from the way of domestic and foreign security for the rural elder, and proposes the countermeasure and suggestion to consummate the system of security for the rural elder in Jilin Province...
