Recently, with the fierce competition of petroleum marketing, LY faces enumorous pressure. As the major sale staff of LY, employees in the petro station play the leading role in the complishment of the company's strategic goal. The author analyzed the performance management system of the petro station staff in several aspects in detail on the basis of the current situation in the performance management of LY petro station staff, with modern performance management theory and research on relevant literature. And find out varied questions existing in LY petro station staff's performance management while putting forward suggested improvements.The author tried hard to establish a effective performance management system of petro station staff with the emphasis on how to devise performance indicator and how to go along the construction and control of basic frame of performance management process of petro station staff. And meanwhile found novel ways of solution and thoughts during designing and practising the performance management system. A vivid illustration of this is that when establishing the index of individual performance of petro station staff, combine the working accomplishment, attitude with the working capability so that the drawbacks of lack of diversity in the establishment of performance objects and the lack of science in the assessment can be made up. Besides, in the preparation of performance management of petro station staff, it's indispensable to emphasize the training of performance management personnel, enhance their understanding towards the performance management, so that the effect of the performance management can be guaranteed. Finally, during the operation of LY performance management, one should tighten the control on the operating process and lead no matter the upper-managers or the petro station staff to understand that performance management is not only about the assessment, but emphasized more on the continuous communication and improvements in the performance management, i.e., spot the problems existing in the procedure of the objects complishment of gas station staff, sales department and the whole company in time, guide and optimize them in time, and eventually fulfill the entire performance goal of the LY company.In order to guarantee the effective operation of this petro station staff's performance management, the author also provide some other measures, for instance, set up a scientific concept of performance management, enhance the training and supervision of the reviewer, create a performance-oriented culture, optimize the...
