Diplomatic compound construction project is government invested project with special properties and political significance. There are lots of uncertainties you can encountered in the implementation of the project. The successful project management can be reached only if the practitioners of the project recognize the risks inside and implement effective risk management. Serving as the project sponsor and organizer, the owner's effort is the core of the project management. Building the owner's risk management system is very important for management of the whole construction process. Firstly, after the analysis of the characteristic of diplomatic compound construction project, the working scope, method and result of every stage of risk management process are illustrated on the basis of mature research worldwide. Secondly, the risk treatment method is proposed after the identification of the risk factors of diplomatic compound construction project. It is valuable for the building of the owner's risk management system of diplomatic compound construction project. Finally, the case of the application of the owner's risk management in new compound construction project is demonstrated. According to the result of risk identification, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are used. The risk treatment proposal is drawn up after the analysis on the ratio of different risk factors with AHP method. |
