With economic getting global and China's rapid economic growth, China's manufacturing competitive model also has shifted. In the past, manufacturer mainly competed product scale and product quality. But now, the modern manufacturing enterprise increasingly focused on the speed competition and to shorten the product life cycle to be better adapted to marker change in the form. The production logistics system directly affects the production cycle. The function of the production logistics system depends largely on the facilities layout. Facility layout is an important branch of industrial engineering. Facilities planning is refers to getting the enterprise resources - personnel, equipment, materials and energy for the rational distribution, to improve the efficiency of enterprise operation. Before the advent of simulation methods appear, people mainly use quantitative methods and experience to plan the facilities. Using this method is not only complicated and time-consuming, but can not test whether this model can be used in practical. This increases the burden on business costs and time, and the high level of risk is not conducive to the production of modern enterprise and competition.This paper discussed the application of Flexsim software in the production logistics system simulation, based on an automobile assembly plant model. The results showed that Flexism software is feasible in optimizing the production logistics system.First of all, the production logistics system and facility layout theory was fully elaborated, and applied two cases to illustrate how the facility layout optimization is useful in the production logistics system.Then, this article described the Petri Nets and Flexsim in field of production logistics system modeling and simulation. And a Petri Nets model and a Flexsim were built to illustrate model building process.Finally, this article analysis the production logistics system of Auto manufacturers and build a simulation model in the use of Petri Nets and Flexsim software to modify the delivery process. According to the company's data and the aims of simulation, the model was compiled and run. The results date showed that this model is effective. And the results also showed that the model can optimize the model to find the optimal setting program.
