The Study Of The Industry Transfer In Hunan Province

In recent years the economic environment around China has been undergoing deep and complicated changes. International competition became more furious and the coastal provinces in the east of China are facing the pressure of resources, environment and the increasing labor cost. The industrial transfer has been the necessary choice of upgrading the industrial structure and the important means of adjusting the way of economic development in the coastal provinces. Under such background the undertaking industrial shift is becoming a good opportunity for the middle places China to realize the goals of upgrading the traditional industries and strategic rise. As a large province located in the middle of China, Hunan province has made obvious progress in undertaking industrial shift, but still has many problems to deal with.For the above reasons firstly it is necessary to know about the situation on the industrial transfer in Hunan province by using the method of SWOT. Next, from micro perspectives this paper takes Wangcheng County as an example to investigate its taking over the outside industries and find out some main existing problems. Then, from macro perspectives this paper adopts the data about the output of the main industrial products in Hunan from 2003 to 2007 to analyze the trend of its industrial transfer and point out its strategic direction. Finally by summarizing the foreign experiences this paper proposes some policy suggestions to promote the development of Hunan taking over the industrial transfer eventually.
