This paper has meaning to seek effective ways to increase tourism residents'SWB and to construct the harmonious social environment of tourism destinations. We can get the following conclusions through this paper study:(1)SWB of residents in Wuyuan is at a medium level.(2)Degree of tourism development, season of tourism, residential area in tourism destination et objective factors impact SWB of Wuyuan residents in different levels. In the growth stage of destination resort lifecycle, SWB of residents is declining with the developing of tourism. When the busy season is coming, the SWB of residents who work related tourism will increase. The closer residents'living area to the tourism center destination, the lower level of residents'SWB.(3) There are some differences on demographic characteristics for the SWB in Wuyuan. For the residents of different genders, their SWB does not have significant differences.Age and residents' SWB show "U" type relationship, the young and the old groups own higher SWB than the middle-aged group.Education degree and residents' SWB appear "U" type relationship, the "below primary group" and the "bachelor degree or above group" have a high SWB level while the "Junior middle school and technical secondary school group" has the lowest SWB level. In consideration of family structure, the "two lovers"group has the highest SWB level. For residents whose income is below 5,000 yuan, their SWB level becomes higher as their income increases, while for residents whose income exceeds 5000 yuan, their SWB level reduces as their income increases.(4) The Wuyuan residents' SWB levels are different because their work correlate with tourism in different degree. The SWB of residents who have a diverse income channels is higher than the ones who have a single income channel.(5)Wuyuan tourism residents' SWB levels are concerned with the contact degree with tourists. Usually the residents who contact frequently have q a higher SWB.(6)Community belonging of Wuyuan tourism residents influences their SWB level mainly by living fixed number of year. While the birthplace and whether they will leave or not don't influence their SWB level. (7)There are differences of SWB in the different perceptions of the residents. The person who percepts positive impacts in economic, social culture and environment has a higher SWB than the person who percepts negative impacts.(8)Wuyuan tourism residents' attitude to the tourism development has little impact to their SWB level.
