| Electrical industry closely related to state planning and people's living condition. Because of the natural monopoly of this industry, many countries in the world run electrical business by their governments monopolistically for a long time. After trial operation, the plan was settled down and will be carried into execution within this year. Therefore, all the enterprises engaged in this line will face impact and competition never met before.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the change of competition stream of power industry in China, to evaluate the outer strategy environment of electric enterprises, to help Beijing Electric Power Corporation make out business strategy taking account of their own inner conditions. At the same time, it also should be helpful for other enterprises in electric line, such as transmitting, sub-distributing enterprises and engineering enterprises. On the basis of introducing the common condition of electric industry of China, the thesis mainly analyzes the outer strategy environment based on the PEST theory in the respects of politics, economy, technology and social culture. Electric reforming plan of China is described briefly. With the theory of SWOT which influences competition of enterprises, the author analyzes the threat and opportunity of outer environment, as well as advantage and disadvantage of inner conditions. It points out the total developing strategy planning and stage targets of the electric corporation, and addresses some propositions for the implement of the strategy.The thesis addressed the strategy of specialization on constructing, differentiation on serving and integration and diversity on operating. Increasing strategy mode are suggested to be adopted. It accommodate to the competitive situation of the reform of electric power industry. Furthermore. It have the economic worthy and realistic meaning of other electric power corporations to forming core competitive competency. |
