During the travel, tourists may have such feelings:to feel particularly fond of somewhere, to feel that is what we are looking for. Tourists has a unique memory of the local place,attracting them, involving themselves in their own experience of local place, understanding the value and the meaning hidden under places, or just enjoying the unique atmosphere of the place. Why tourist would particularly popular of certain type of destination, why tourist will be extremely attractive by destination, and what connection could be between tourists and destination? How the place let tourist fall intoxicated? Sense of place, what human geography and environmental psychology is widely used concept, has provided a direction for solving the problem of this research.Place is not only a geographical area, but is also an experienced place which take shape through individualization, socialization and cultural process. is not only the symbols marked on the map, but also a center of meaning, image of feeling value, is a focus of emotional attachment, and a place filling with meaning.Based on the above background, raises the author's research interests:what is the tourists sense of place in the tourist experience, and how it generate, and influence the tourist experience. Whether there are some differences in the degree of tourist sense of place generated by different type of place. How the different types of tourists have performed in sense of place.This article is divided into six parts in the structureThe first part unfolds background of the research, meanings of this study and content of the article structure. The second part, arounding Sense of place, sums up the relevant research, in terms of the dimensions of leisure involvement, type of activity on the impact of sense of place, residents'sense of place, and place meanings from the human geography to leisure, as well as the relevant research in tourism. And based on them proposed research questions. The third part is used in this article explained the qualitative research methods, and how obtained the research data through interviews.The fourth and fifth parts are the core component of this paper. In the fourth part, analyzes the generation mechanism of sense of place in the tourist experience. Tourist's sense of place is a complex congenital, is the expected value of tourists within the framework of perception, and is the nostalgic behind the travel behavour. The type of Sense of place and specific situational factors in tourist experience ware analyzed.In the fifth part, author discuss sense of place in the tourism experience from the specific place to a certain type of place, such as wilderness and so on; and from familiar to unfamiliar places; and different type tourists performed on the sense of place.The last part is the conclusion of this article, it review the main ideas in the paper, points out the limitations and prospects of this paper Sense of place in tourist experience provides a new perspective for tourist experience and tourism planning research.now the sense of place as a tourism planning considerations, has the unique interpretation on tourist motivation. Well, how the sense of place affects tourism experience is still need for further research, it is also the follow-up research direction of this paper...
