Research On Evaluation Of Logistics Service Provider From The Perspective Of Intelligence Process

Along with the globalization and the enterprise competition pressure increase, many enterprises see the logistics services improvement, the carbon emissions reduction, and the global supply chain integrations the key of reducing the cost and strengthening service advantage. Presently, enterprises put more emphasis on their own core competitive ability; while at the same time outsource the non-core business to professional logistics service providers. These logistics supplier not only assume the transportation, warehousing logistics functions and etc., but also provide comprehensive integrated logistics services, such as forecasting and inventory management service, information service and the value added services. Therefore, how to cooperate globally with these professional logistics service provider and optimize the overall system performance through the collaborative efforts has a very important strategic significance for enterprises.Researches and practices indicate that efficient service of logistics supplier plays an irreplaceable role in reducing logistics cost, optimizing supply chain structure, and the enhancing enterprise core competitiveness. However, the utility of realizing the above aspects depends on the hardware level and soft power of logistics provider. In actual process of cooperating with the logistics providers cooperation process, enterprise are hard to discern the most suitable logistics provider because of the difficulty of making comprehensive and accurate evaluation and choice of its level and strength. To overcome the certain limitation of existing selection method and evaluation model, carry on the exact requirement analysis, built an effective logistics service provider evaluation model and provide the feasibility of logistics supplier selection schemes the problem to be solved.This study was based on intelligence process perspective, study the information process theory and logistics supplier theory, service supply chain management theory and supplier evaluation selection method from the angle of enterprise logistics service demand standpoint so as to provide an information solutions for the demand of enterprise logistics supplier selection decision. Firstly, studies the enterprise logistics selection process and information process, and discusses the key intelligence link when enterprise choosing the logistics. Secondly, combine the information process and intelligence method of each process link, and use KIT method to construct the all kinds of information index system towards the information factors involving the decision-making process. Then neural network was adopted to construct the comprehensive logistics supplier evaluation model. Finally, based on above theory research, apply the EMLSIP (Evaluation model of choosing logistic service supplier under the perspective of information process) to the actual situation of BS Company in selecting logistics suppler.
