The Management Of Thermal Power Construction Project Investment Control

Construction project generally has a clear target; however, the following target is common:the effective use of limited funds and investment. That is, we should complete projects with less cost, higher speed and excellent quality, so that it can realize the consign use of the intended functions, and obtain the scheduled economic benefits. In this paper, the project investment control of project management will be discussed as the main content. The paper introduces the dynamic control of domestic and foreign investment, the development of project investment control and the status of current thermal power project investment control. Moreover, it illustrates the thermal power project management and investment control relationship, and describes the methods of investment control in power engineering construction project. Furthermore, it points out that the investment control evaluation is a soft index, whose quality depends on the managers'responsibilities and skillful viewpoints. The paper indicates the existed error in current evaluation for investment control aiming at the problems existing in the thermal power project investment control management, such as the ignoring of pre-construction projects, the effects of design time on the quality, the non-strictly control of investment during construction, and the low quality of personnel and awareness. What's more, it lists the investment control points in all stages including decision-making, design and construction. Finally, it proposes solutions, researches and raises the methods and measures of thermal power investment control in connection with its characteristics. Taking the second phase of Sui Zhong Generation Company as an example, the paper introduces the investment control process and methods of thermal power construction project in detail, lists the experience and success in investment control of the company, and points out effective management means in investment control on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of infrastructure projects in order to achieve maximum economic efficiency.I hope that the paper can be a reference and help in investment control, especially for the thermal power projects in the future.
