As people's living standards in recent years to enhance and accelerating the rhythm of life, more and more people want to relax through travel. But traditional tourism has been unable to meet the needs of tourists. It is imperative to develop new tourism projects. With the domestic tourism industry booming, wellness tourism has been rapid development. Wellness tourism originated in the United States and Mexico in the30 years,20th century. Domestic wellness tourism started in Hainan and Nanning in 2002,which is followed by rapid development in Sichuan and other provinces and cities and became the fashionable tourist destination interpretation in 2007. In travel to taste wellness, for wellness to travel, is increasingly becoming the fashion industry moving to China. As a new tourism projects, there must be a place in the future tourism market for wellness tourism. How it can be a reasonable development to enable them to meet people's needs has become an urgent problem.In this paper, as the background of the rapid development of wellness tourism, the author selected Wuyi wellness tourism product development as the object of empirical research. The author aims to search through the relevant literature and empirical research and treatment, to analyze the resources, markets and products of Wuyi wellness tourism, so as to make innovative design of Wuyi wellness tourism product. Mainly on the basis of evaluation of Wuyi wellness tourism resources, the author analyze the factors of constrainting Wuyi wellness tourism market development and product development which is based on questionnaire surveys of the target market of tourists. Through the use of RMP analysis, The author puts forward the ideas and related countermeasures of development of Wuyi wellness tourism product.This paper consists of 5 chapters. The first chapter is the introductory part.It summarizes the background and significance of the paper systematically, as well as introduces the theoretical foundation, research methods and content, combs domestic and foreign related academic research and defines the related definition. The second chapter analyzes the theoretical analysis of tourism products, describes the concept of tourism product development and strategy, product innovation types and ways. The third chapter analyzes Wuyi wellness tourism resources.Through the use of R analysis, the author sorted out the wellness tourism resource types of Wuyi, refined the characteristics of wellness tourism, evaluated the quality of wellness tourism resources. The fourth Chapter is the analysis of Wuyi wellness tourism market and product situation, through a questionnaire survey of tourists to grasp the current situation of the target market, with market M analysis, looking for factors of restricting wellness tourism market development. The fifth chapter is Wuyi wellness tourism product development. Taking the survey by the previous study as a basis, the author discussed ideas of wellness tourism product development, designed steps of Wuyi wellness tourism product development with the actual situation in Wuyi. Then the author made the market positioning, product planning and development, designed unique and diverse products lines of Wuyi wellness tourism.
