The Buerqige Hudag area is located in the northwestern margin of Inner Mongolia plateau, in the Abag Banner and Sonid Left Banner, Xilin Gol League in Inner Mongolia. It is in the central part of the Tianshan-Xing Meng Orogenic System, and the northeastern trending Erenhot-Hegen mountain ophiolite belt goes through its northeastern corner, and it is the product of long-term effect combined by North China Plate and Siberia Plate. It belongs to the eastern segment of the Abag-Huolin River chrome, copper, gold, germanium, coal, natural soda, mirabilite belt of the Greaer Khingan Range Metallogenetic Province, there is a good prospect for exploration in this region. However, the basic geological surveyand mineral resource exploration research, mineralization geological conditions, metallogenic regularity and metallogenic prediction have no detailed study, which will furtheraffect prospecting work, owning to various factors and conditions. On the basis of extensively data collection, this thesis have been discussed on the sediment sequence, magma activity, metamorphism, geological tectonic framework and tectonic unit characteristics, in Buerqige Hudag area. By studying the distribution of mineral resources, comprehensive geochemical anomalies of 1:50,000 soil geochemical survey and 1:50,000 airborne magnetic survey, the mineralization geological conditions and metallogenic regularity have been summarized. The major depsoits are hosted in the Devonian ultrabasic rocks, Permian stratum and Jurassic acidic intrusive rocks. The main ore types have magmatic type Cr iron ore, magmatic hydrothermal type gold-silver deposit, porphyrt type copper-molybdenum ore, weathering crust type nickel ore and sedimentary type limestone mine. The metallogenic epochs are concentrated in three periods: Devonian, Permian and Jurassic.Based on analysis on geophysical, geochemical anomalies and ore deposits distribution, comprehensive consideration of sedimentary, magmatic and tectonic, distribution of mine andmetallogenic epoch, author has gained three prospecting areas, inclding one A-grade prospecting area and two B-grade prospecting areas. In addition, author has gained seven ore-prospecting target areas, inclding two A-grade ore-prospecting target areas, three B-grade ore-prospecting target areas, and two C-grade ore-prospecting target areas. The geological, geophysical and geochemical anomalies and ore-forming characteristics in each metallogenic prospective district and ore-prospecting targets area have been described. The resource potential of the major target areas, mineralization types, and deposit characteristics have been analyzed, providing the basis work for further prospecting.
