Jiguanshan area of Fengcheng is in the central of Eastern Liaoning- Southern Jilin Metallogenic Belt in Liaoning Province. Tectonic unit is located in Sino Korean paraplatform (class ?) Jiaoliao anteclise (class ?) Yingkou-Kuandian arch (Class ?) Fengcheng uplift (Class ?). The main research area in Jiguanshan area is located in ancient Rift Valley of Eastern Liaoning. Metamorphic rocks and magmatite rocks of the ancient Proterozoic Liaohe Group develop generally. The boron ore, iron ore, copper ore, lead ore,zinc ore and gold deposit are very rich and metallogenic geological conditions are very superior. The ore formation in this area are mainly Lieryu boron rock group of Proterozoic Liaohe Group, Gaojiayu lead zinc ore rock group, Dashiqiao lead zinc ore rock group and Gaixian clastic group with gold ore, copper ore, lead ore and zinc ore.The circum Pacific Rift System is an obvious sign of ore controlling structures in the region. North-east fracture to Lijiabaozi in the Mesozoic and north-east fracture to Jiguanshan in the Middle Proterozoic and Upper Proterozoic are important tectonic metallogenic marks. Eastern Liaoning ancient rift is the intracratonic rift developed in the early Proterozoic Era. It controls the distribution in the region of boron ore, iron ore, lead ore, zinc ore and gold deposit in Jiguanshan area of Fengcheng. The MZ line which is used to separate eugeosyncline inner zone and miogeosyncline outside belt in Eastern Liaoning Rift Valley controls the distribution of lead ore and zinc ore in the area. Multi period and multi way movement zone fault controlled the Mesozoic faulted basin and rock distribution of ore deposits. It has become an important symbol of the formation of gold deposit.We have conducted tectonic environment types, tectonic evolution process, metallogenic mechanism and metallogenic environment research in the region according to the analysis of regional geological survey and regional tectonic evolution. After we have done the research and the summarization of metallogenic regularities and metallogenic evolution in the area of boron ore, iron ore, copper ore, lead ore,zinc ore and gold deposit, we combine with geology and mineral information, geophysical information and geochemical information which is used to control factors and ore controlling signs of mine as the research object. We have established comprehensive information mineral resources prospecting model according to the direct prospecting information and indirect prospecting information.Eventually we will delineate three metallogenic zones and evaluate these three polymetallic metallogenic provinces. These three polymetallic metallogenic provinces are Shimiao-Liujiahe boron ore and iron ore polymetallic metallogenic province,Tanggou- Qiumuzhuang copper lead ore and zinc ore polymetallic metallogenic province and Sidaogou- Yaogou gold deposit polymetallic metallogenic province.
