The study area is located at the southeast of Lingshan town in Liangshan County,Shandong Province,with an area of about 450km~2.The area is 20km away east from the Dongping Wenshang iron ore belt,which is an important iron ore belt in the west of Shandong Province,with proven iron ore reserves of more than 1.2 billion tons.The extremum of aeromagnetic anomaly in the study area is relatively weak and covers small area in scale.It is confirmed by exploration that most of the anomalies in this area are ore-inducedin origin,which shows that Liangshan low-magnetic anomaly area has good metallogenic geological conditions and potential prospects.This work made full use of the comprehensive research on systematic data collected,analyzed of geological characteristics of typical ore deposits,summaried the metallogenic conditions and prospecting marks,conducted the mineral prediction and pointed out the prospecting direction.The paper carried out the work step by step according to the technical route formulated by the research proposal,and has achieved certain results as follows:(1)Based on the comprehensive collection of data of basic geological survey,regional geophysical exploration,mineral exploration and scientific research achievements in recent years,this paper studies and analyzes the distribution of strata,structures,magmatic rocks and their relationship with mineralization in the area,and expounds the corresponding relationship between geophysical characteristics and iron ore deposits in detail.(2)It is considered that the iron ore in Liangshan area was formed in the Neoarchean,controlled by the Neoarchean volcanic sedimentary strata,and mainly occurs in the metamorphic rocks of the Neoarchean Taishan Group.The ore bearing formation is mainly banded magnetite quartzite,magnetite amphibolite and hornblende magnetite quartzite.The later fracture transformation is an important reason for the irregular exposure of the ore bed and ore belt.(3)Based on the analysis and study of the metallogenic law,metallogenic model and prospecting mark of sedimentary metamorphic iron ore in this area,a comprehensive information prospecting model was established for the first time in the study area,and the metallogenic prediction was carried out in this area through the similar analogy theory.Five metallogenic prediction targets at all levels were delineated,including three class I prospecting targets and two class II prospecting targets.
