Bryophytes are special high taxa, being different from vascular plants in their ecological distribution, species diversity, community constructer and types, as well as landscape resources. As an important national reserve,Qingliangfeng reserve has no documents on community ecology and landscape evaluation of bryophytes. In the present thesis, bryophyte community ecology has been conducted in Qingliangfeng national reserve. The landscape values of the main community types were also evaluated. The main results are as follows:(1)Though four field activities, we have collected 850 bryophyte specimens and investigated bryophyte communities of 170 sites in Qingliangfeng reserve. We found 116 bryophyte species after our identification of these specimens, which belong to 33 families and 56 genera.(2)In the investigated sites, Hypnaceae, Thuidaceae, Mniaceae, Bryotheciaceae, Endontaceae, Meteoriaceae, Orthotrichaceae, Pottiaceae, Polytrichaceae, Bryaceae,Dicranaceae, and Grammiaceae are the dominant families. Among them, the former seven families are pleurocapus, while the latter five families are acrocapus, pleurocapus families being dominant taxa;Hypnum(8 species), Pogonatum(5), Bryum(5), Entodon(5), Ctenidium(4)and Leucobryum(4) are the dominant genera in the communities in the investigated sites, their species number accounting for 26.72% of the total.(3)Saxicolous bryophyte species consist of the main part of the bryophyte flora in the sites, soil bryophyte species rank the second, then the epiphytic bryophyte species, accounting for 93.97%, 21.55%, and 8.62% of the total, respectively. According to their frequencies in the investigated sites, Hypnum revolutum, Atrichum crispulum, Hedwigia ciliata,Campylopus umbellatus, Hypnum lumaeforme, Racomitrium japonicum, Brachythecium albicans,Pogonatum aloides, Weissia controversa, Bryum argenteum, Barbula rigidula, Hypnum hamulosum and so on are the widely-distributed species in Qingliangfeng reserve, while Racomitrium japonicum, Hypnum revolutum, Barbula rigidula, Hypnum plumaeforme, Pogonatum aloides, Atrichum crispulum, Campylopus umbellatus, Brachythecium albicans, Hypnum hamulosum, Hedwigia ciliata, Weissia controversa and Bryum argenteum have larger coverage in these sites.(4)Among 170 sites, there are 18 sites with Shannon index larger than 1,65 sites with Shannon index from 0.99 to 0.50, the others with the index from 0 to 0.50,and 39 sites with Shannon index of zero.(5)Among the 116 moss species, Hypnum hamulosum has the widest niche, following by Hypnum revolutum and Atrichum crispulum. The relationship of niche width(x)with themoss species number(y) following Y=123.01*e(-0.0085*x)( r = 0.9936(P<0.001,n=7),revealing that most moss species has rather narrow niche widthes.(6)Based on the coverage of bryophyte species in 129 saxicolous sites, the saxicolous bryophyte communities could be divided into twelve groups, the species and their coverage in these community groups were given. Canonical Correspondence Analsysi(CCA) was used to reveal the relationships of the species distribution and four environmental factors. The CCA results showed that the factors ranked as soil depth on the stone, slope, canopy density, and humidity according to their effects on distribution of the bryophyte species.(7)The 35 sites on soil were clustered into four groups based on their coverage. CCA on the environmental factors and coverage of species showed that slop of the site, canopy density have larger effects on the distribution of bryophyte species than humidity.(8)Considering the features of bryophyte communities in Qingliangfeng Reserve, we proposed that community area, life types, color, pureness, frequency, altitude could be applied to evaluate the landscape values of bryophyte communities. The weights of these six indices were also produced. Finally, a total of 50 communities with higher landscape values in the field were evaluated based on their integrated values, several bryophyte communities were selected for their potential utilization values. Suggestion how to exploit bryophyte landscape resource in the future was also given.
