In order to compare 6 kinds of caprifoliaceae garden plants’ ecological benefits,this experiment selected Lonicera fragrantissima, Lonicera korolkowi and Kolkwitzia amabilis, Viburnum rhytidophyllum, Sambucus williamsii, Weigela Florida as the research object.Firstly, we studied all those plants’ photosynthetic characteristics in different diurnal variation. Secondly,we analyzed the ecological benefit indexes, such as the ability of the carbon oxygen released, cooling humidifying capacity,bacteriostasis, dust and sequestration of heavy metals lead, cadmium, chromium,copper, zinc.The results showed that:Firstly, These 6 kinds of caprifoliaceae plants showed different photosynthe tic rate in different months and different time in each day.From June to Octob er, net photosynthetic rate change was divided into three trends: Viburnum rhyt idophyllum, Sambucus williamsiifor bimodal type, Weigela florida was unimoda l type;Lonicera fragrantissima of the valley;Lonicera korolkowi, and Kolkwitzia amabilisfor fall.In the whole growth period,williamsii and Weigela Floridas’ p hotosynthetic rate was higher, olkwitzia amabilis, Viburnum rhytidophyllums’ ph otosynthetic rate was low.Secondly,among these plants,Sambucus williamsiiaverage had strongest ability in daily carbon oxygen during the growing season. The weaker was Viburnum rhytidophyllum and Kolkwitzia amabilis. Actually,they also had much difference between each other in using light energy. But the same kind also had different light energy utilization rate at different time in one day.Among these kinds of plants’ average light energy using efficiency had much difference in the main growing season.The order from high to low was:Lonicera fragrantissima, Sambucus williamsii,Lonicera korolkowi, Kolkwitzia amabilis,Weigela florida.Thirdly, 6 kinds of caprifoliaceae plant cooling humidifying efficiency in different months each were not identical, including elderberry, allegations, kam with cooling humidifying capacity was stronger.They also had difference between water using efficiency.Lonicera fragrantissima, Lonicera korolkowi was strong in usingefficiency, Weigela florida was weaker.Fourthly, they had different dust detentions after the rain.These 6 kinds of plants’ dust detentions order Kolkwitzia amabilis> Lonicera korolkowi> Viburnum rhytidophyllum>Lonicera ragrantissim>Sambucus williamsii>Weigela florida.Bactericidal effect of different plants had different, but the difference was not significant.We listed bacteriostatic effect from strong to weak order as Sambucus williamsii>Weigela florida>Lonicera fragrantissima>Lonicera korolkowi > Viburnum rhytidophyllum> Kolkwitzia amabilis.They have different ability of sequestrating heavy metals.Lonicera korolkowis’ sequestration and zinc is significantly higher than the other five kinds of plant. Viburnum rhytidophyllum had the strongest sequestration ability of cadmium, copper, Kolkwitzia amabilis had the strongest metal chromium sequestration ability.Concluding of all the ecological benefit indexes, 6 kinds of caprifoliaceae garden plant integrated ecological benefit from high to low order listed as:Sambucus williamsii>Lonicera korolkowi>Lonicera fragrantissima>Kolkwitzia amabilis>Weigela florida>Viburnum rhytidophyllum...
