As the core of the navigation system, the navigable geographic data is an important spatial data. On the one hand, the navigable geographic data, involving high precision navigation geographic data of geographic information, has high military value.On the other hand, as the carrier of the navigation information, the sharing of navigable geographic data is beneficial to the development of social economy.The contradiction between the security and sharing of navigable geographic data is prominent particularly. Decryption has been developed to deal with this contradiction.For nowadays, research of decryption is focused on the geometric accuracy of decryption model and algorithm, but neglecting the usability of spatial decryption data.Aiming at the characteristicd of the navigable geographic data and decrypt, this paper has dissected the impacet on the navigation geographic data by decrypt. This paper presents the usability conception of the decrypted navigable geographic data,analyses and summarizes the usability problem of the navigable geographic data.On this basis,it proposes the usability assessment framework.Finally,this paper makes a comprehensive evaluation and classification for the usability of the decrypted navigable geographic data. The experimental results show that usability evaluation method adopted in this paper reflects the usability of navigable geographic data objectively. The main contents and results are follows:(l)Basic research on the usability evaluation of decrypted navigable geographic data. Based on the characteristics of navigable geographic data and the decryption features, it has researched the definition, source of the usability problem and valuation contents.Then the paper construsts the indicators for usability evaluation of decrypted navigable geographic data.(2)Mearsue of indicator for usability evaluation of decrypted navigable geographic data. Taking into account the ambiguity for describing usability evaluation indicators qualitative, the paper proposes the secondary indicators and measure methods. Visual effects evalution use spatial similarity to measure. Measure of reliability base on defect evalutation. Effectiveness is measured by decryption precision and topological consistency.(3)Comprehensive evaluation for usability evaluation of decrypted navigable geographic data. Taking into account the characteristics of decryption model, The weight is given by the influence of each index in the nacigation appilication.Based on this, it establishes the availability of comprehensive evaluation model and realizes the classification for the decrypted navigable geographic data in the paper. Finally,this paper makes experiments and analysis of the availability of comprehensive evaluation model. Experimental data show that navigation decryption geographic data get a high scores in visualization and reliability scores, and the effectiveness is highly sensitive to the accuracy of decryption. The results showed:the decrypted navigation geographic data availabiliting assessment model build in this paper can reflect the data availability truly and objectively. The usability evaluation model for decrypted navigable geographic data has an high application.
