Heidegger analyzed the nature of technology in a deep way on the aspect of being.His profound understanding of technology has caused many people to pay attention to technical issues and think about it, this have laid an ideological foundation for the philosophy of technology.The purpose of this paper is to present Heidegger’s view of technology clearly and deeply,and follow Heidegger’s way to think about contemporary technical problems.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part analyzes the nature of technology, asking what the technology is.We find out that there is a law of causality behind the popular view of technology,through the law of causality,we know that the technology is a way of deshielding.The second part explains what the modern technology is. Comparing with the ancient technology, we know that although modern technology is also a kind of deshielding, but it has its own characteristics. The modern technology booked natural as a deposit and force the natural to hand over its energy.Heidegger used the word “gestell”to describe the essence of modern technology, he pointed out that the “gestell”not only restrict the possibility of deshielding, but also caused the alienation of people.Heidegger defined the modern technology as "the highest risk", the third part is to analyze the risk and seek ways to overcome the crisis.Heidegger think there are ways to save in the crisis,we need to face the crisis and think over it.The fourth is an further reflection about human and technology. Since we live in the world which is filled with technology, it is hard for people to give up technology, what we need to do is treat technology calmly. We should keep a clear mind during we using technology, knowing that technology will be harm to human beings one day, and we have to prepare for it in advance. This requires us to be aware of technical level and developing trend,let technology under the control of humanity. I believe our humanity will make a right decision for us when we deal with technology.
