With the rapid development of science and technology, problems related to technology are becoming more and more obvious. In view of a series of social consequences brought by technological alienation,Marcuse severely criticized "technological rationality",deeply analyzed the problem of human alienation, paid attention to human survival, and revealed the crisis of human nature.Marcuse's critical theory is influenced by many thinkers, among which Heidegger, who has a teacher apprentice relationship with Marcuse,is the most noteworthy. It is Heidegger's questioning of technology that triggered Marcuse's many thoughts and solved his confusion about the ideological defects of Marxism to some extent.Taking "technology" as the main clue, this paper combs the two people's technical thoughts from three aspects: the essence of technology, the manifestations and coping methods of modern technology alienation, and the living situation of people in the state of technology alienation, from the inquiry of technology to the criticism of technology, from the technology from the perspective of existential truth to the technology under social repression, from the homeless to the one-way people,From calm to subject liberation, through layers of analysis, this paper attempts to explore Marcuse's inheritance and "transcendence" of Heidegger's philosophy of technology.Marcuse's criticism inherited Heidegger's "this is" element and applied it to the field of Marxist theory, forming a characteristic "Heidegger style Marxism".It can be said that the biggest transcendence of Marcuse's critical theory of technology to Heidegger's thought of technology inquiry is that he pays attention to the non freedom as the subject and tries to build an ideal picture to realize the liberation of man and society. However, due to Marcuse's own theoretical limitations and practical problems,he fell into the swamp of "paranoia" like Heidegger in exploring the road to save people's freedom. With the help of and aesthetic art,he finally moved towards a technical Utopia. This answer is obviously unsatisfactory, which also puts quotation marks on the word transcendence.
