| Heidegger asks about the nature of technology in the context of existentialism.This thesis aims to reconstruct the inner logic of Heidegger’s technical thought,taking the context and ideological origins of his technical thought as an entry point and focusing on four dimensions in Heidegger’s technical thought: ethical implications,historical consciousness,political motivation and artistic vision.First,the ethical implications of Heidegger’s technical thought are explored.Heidegger’s thinking on technology was first influenced by Aristotle’s view of technique.Heidegger accepts Aristotle’s definition of technique as a way of unblocking,but refuses to follow the ancient Greek tradition of practical philosophy to inquire into the essence of technique.By exploring the inner connection between technique and truth,Heidegger deviates from Aristotle’s existential prescription of technique and finally forms a technical providence in the context of existential history.Secondly,it reveals the historical consciousness of Heidegger’s technical thought.Heidegger does not inquire into technology in the context of "historiography" but adopts a "history of existence" perspective.In other words,Heidegger does not want to explore the historical process of the occurrence of technology,he wants to ponder what is the innermost drive of the technology itself.According to Heidegger,the tyranny of technology is the end product of nihilism,which itself is the sign of the completion of metaphysics.Thus,the overcoming of the nature of technology implies a farewell to metaphysics and the opening of a history of authenticity.The political motives of Heidegger’s technical thought are again dissected.Heidegger saw in the political movement the possibility of a historical moment of authenticity,and he understood the Nazi National Socialist revolution as an"indoctrination" of the German nation and a "determination" of the nihilistic nature of the technological age," thus,Heidegger’s initial Heidegger’s initial techno-criticism is therefore implicitly politically motivated,but Heidegger’s understanding of the inner nature of the National Socialist movement is a romantic and subjective projection,and this political ideal will undoubtedly fall flat.Finally,the artistic vision of Heidegger’s technical thought is explained.After the collapse of the political ideal,Heidegger searches again for the "divine measure" in art.Although technology has become the destiny of our time,this destiny is not a fatalistic and immutable event,and we are still not in despair;Heidegger has found a direction to strive for: to explore how a non-metaphysical contemplation is possible in the nature of art. |
